Hiding within each single-player chapter of Halloween: The Game, you can find collectibles known as Loomis Logs. These tape recordings, which you can listen to in the Graveyard Menu once you've gathered them, add to the story of Michael Myers. However, they're not in the most obvious places. While you're escaping the sanatorium, here's where you need to go to get the two Prelude Loomis Logs, known as Loomis Log #2 and Loomis Log #4.
At the start of the level, you see Michael Myers come out of a previously fenced-in area. The courtyard fence has been pushed down, and the patients and orderlies are scattered.
To get the first collectible, turn around before you go anywhere and go back into the yard area. In the corner, across from the doorway, is a lamppost over a few benches and a trash can. On top of the trash can is the first collectible. Approach it and use the retrieve collectible interaction to gather it.
The next one you won't see until you get to the bottom of the hill and get the prompt to turn off the power box. If you're facing the diamond that indicates where the power box is, turn left and continue going down the street until you see the bus station shelter.
Inside the shelter, there's a collectible on top of the trash can.
You can still get to these areas until you go through the gate you cut the power to. Once you pry open the gate, you won't be able to come back and pick up the collectibles. Make sure you've done everything you need to in the area before you make your final escape.
