Ask anyone for examples of the worst DLC ever made, and it won't be long before they say horse armour.
Bethesda flogged fresh horse armour in Oblivion for $2.50, and the pack has lived in infamy ever since. At the time, it was a lesson to other developers in how not to handle DLC, though I'm not sure that many studios of today are listening anymore.
Nevertheless, CD Projekt Red is paying homage to that DLC pack from today in The Witcher 3 Remastered.
It's offering new horse armour for Roach in the Fire Horse Gear Set. It kits Roach out with a new saddlebag, saddle, and blinders, all of which are shiny and dark red.
