Nothing is more frustrating in Fortnite than running out of Portable Extractors and having to contend with other players battling at Extraction Sites, all just to get your hard-earned Sprite into your Sprite Collection. While Portable Extractors may seem to be noticeably harder to earn this season, there are a few ways to get them. Here is how to get more Portable Extractors in Fortnite.
You are probably already used to getting Portable Extractors through Service Stations, but here is a quick refresher. Every day, you can purchase one Portable Extractor from an Extraction Site Sprite Dust Service Station for 2,500 Sprite Dust. The Daily Reset for the Sprite Service Stations occurs at 9 AM ET / 1 PM UTC, so be sure to buy one every day to stack them up.
Cheat Code Day is essentially Fortnite Override's version of Mastery Mondays, and on this day, you can earn three extra Portable Extractors by completing Daily Quests. Cheat Code Day happens every Monday at 9 AM ET, and when paired with your Daily Portable Extractor through Service Stations, this means that you can get four total Portable Extractors every Monday.
While not repeatable as of yet, you can get a few extra Portable Extractors through a Lobby Hack Code. Enter the following Lobby Hack Code in the Admin Panel in the main lobby: O2Override. This Lobby Hack Code awards you with five Portable Extractors and a free Llama Supply Drop. For more Lobby Hack Codes, head here.
While Portable Extractors are only reserved for Cheat Code Day Daily Quests, you can also get a few extra through Story Quests. The only Story Quest that awards you with a Portable Extractor right now is the Wrixel Ziggy Get Crafty Quests, giving you extra Portable Extractors upon completing six.
If the Golden Hours are anything to go by, it looks like you can get extra Portable Extractors through Power Hours. During Power Hours, you will spawn with an extra Portable Extractor in your regular inventory, and you can even get more by eliminating other players who haven't used theirs yet.
However, there is a catch. Extra Portable Extractors from Power Hours are not saved in your Gizmo Slot. Power Hours occur every Saturday from 2 PM to 4 PM ET, and 9 PM to 11 PM ET.
