Lego’s next stop to collect the world’s biggest IPs like they’re Infinity Stones and turn elements of them into sets continues later this year when it will release the first-ever Dragon Ball set. One set before the end of 2026 and then a whole lot more in 2027, and we’ve now been given our first proper look at that debut set along with piece count and release date details.

There has only been one official teaser from Lego confirming Dragon Ball sets are coming, and that didn’t really tell us anything. However, the first leak revealed the debut set coming before the end of the year will be modeled after Shenron, and a second leak was an image of the Goku minifigure that will accompany it.
Leak number three is a full look at the set’s packaging courtesy of the always reliable Brick Tap. It showcases Shenron in all its glory, rising up out of the ground with lightning around its base where, if you look closely, you’ll see seven tiny Lego Dragon Balls.
The images also give us an even better look at the Goku minifigure that will accompany Shenron. The first image shows Goku perched on a cloud flying around Shenron, while the other side of the box has the Saiyan standing alongside the aforementioned Dragon Balls.
The latest Dragon Ball set leak also confirms Shenron & Goku’s price, piece count, and release date. The set will indeed be here before the end of 2026, as previously leaked, with a release date of November 1, 2026. You will have to put together 1,764 pieces to complete the build, so it's a pretty sizable set, and it will cost $180.
There will likely be a Dragon Ball-themed free gift that comes with the set if you buy it right away, although that is yet to be confirmed.
While still unconfirmed by Lego, this is just the beginning of its Dragon Ball adventure, with a lot more leaked sets following Shenron & Goku in 2027. It’s believed that this first set is the only Dragon Ball one, with the others coming next year focused more on Dragon Ball Z. The initial leak claims some of the sets releasing in 2027 include Frieza’s Spaceship, Goku vs. Raditz, and a buildable Vegeta.
