Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave is quite a narrative-heavy game, with plenty of social elements between the main character and the cast breaking up the turn-based strategy gameplay. While the English voice cast does a great job of bringing the likes of Leda, Tialla, Peter and the rest to life, some fans may prefer to experience the game with the Japanese voice actors instead. The problem is, once you've started the game, it can be hard to find the setting to change it. Here's how to change to the Japanese voice track in Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave.
To change voice track, you need to back out of your current game and return to the main menu. This can be done by pressing + on your right Joy-Con (or on your Pro Controller), then going to System, and then Return to Title.
Once you're back at the main menu, you need to go to 'Extras' and then select 'Voice Language.' You'll then be given the option to change between the English and Japanese voice cast.
The good news is that this can be changed whenever you want. In other words, just because you've started a save with the English voice track, doesn't mean you're stuck with it for the entire playthrough. Just save your game, exit to the main menu and then head to this setting to toggle it as and when you want to change.
Chances are, though, you'll probably stick with one voice track for the duration of your playthrough once you've selected your preferred option. Personally, I've stuck with the English voice track as I quite like it, but it all comes down to personal preference.
It's worth noting that you can also find two other useful options in the 'Extras' settings from the main menu. Enemy Masking is the display setting for certain insectile enemies across the game. Turning it on changes the appearance of these enemies for players who might have certain phobias. This is also why you get asked how you feel about insects in the character customization section during the tutorial.
Finally, there's a Delete Save Data option that, as it suggests, deletes your save data so you can start over again from the beginning. This is useful if you want to make some different decisions as you progress through the story, or you've lost where you're up to and just want to start fresh.
