Haven't committed to pre-ordering Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 yet? This little pre-order bonus may just swing it for some people, as it involves a special Xbox-focused livery to celebrate the brand's 25th anniversary.
Simply put, if you pre-order any digital version of Modern Warfare 4 for Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, you'll now get the “Inner Circuit” Weapon Blueprint for the M4 Assault Rifle at launch.
Here's what Activision says about it:
"Players who pre-order the game digitally on XBOX Series X|S will view the Inner Circuit Blueprint in a translucent OG Green visual treatment. Designed as a tribute to 25 years of XBOX, the Inner Circuit Blueprint takes cues from classic translucent Xbox hardware. Its transparent green finish exposes the weapon's internal systems, turning the technology beneath the surface into part of the visual identity."
Now, what's interesting here is that if you're playing on any other platform, you'll see an "alternate mil-spec visual treatment" instead of the Xbox livery, and that includes if you're playing against someone on an Xbox console.
In other words, you'll need to be playing on Xbox in order to view this design, and it's certainly a cool little bonus for anyone interested in pre-ordering. MW4 launches on October 23rd, and we'll leave you with comparison shots below.
