You know, even as a massive Gundam fanboy, I wasn't totally sold on Gundam Rogue Orbit based on its initial announcement.
But the more I see of it, the more I'm convinced that this could be a surprise hit.
It's been an awful long time since we were handed a big budget Gundam game, but Bandai Namco's clearly been pumping a lot of resources into this thing.
Gameplay-wise it looks flashy and responsive, packing some really cool animations. And on the cinematic side, it's gearing up to tell a surprisingly decent story, even if it's veering away from your more traditional Gundam narrative.
Plus, we've now got a release date: the 5th March, 2027. It'll be here before you know it.
