Lex the Legend is somewhat of a renowned figure in STALKER 2, but not for the reasons you might expect. He manipulates rookie stalkers into paying for horrible advice, and if you've met him at the Garbage Flea Market, you probably got scammed as well. If you want to get your money back, or if you just want to rid the world of STALKER 2 of a blatant scumbag, here's where you need to go.
You can find Lex in the Flea Market, which is just north of the Depot in Garbage. There's a blue flag icon on the map that'll tell you exactly where he is. Lex is by the campfire on the second level of the Flea Market, telling tall tales to a bunch of other stalkers. If you've already met him before, he'll move to a different location: Zaton.
You can fast travel in STALKER 2 by talking to Guides in safe zones. They'll guide to any of the other safe zones that you've already visited before.
If you talk to Lex in the Flea Market, he'll give you a free tip, which is actually just a bunch of nonsense. You can pay him to tell you more nonsense, or you can call his bluff. If you do the latter, he'll point you to the location of one of his stashes, which is just west of the Flea Market. The stash is on top of a radioactive tractor — don't expect much from this, since all it has is a broken PM and a useless note.
By the time you return to the Flea Market, Lex and his gang will already be gone. If you want to find him again, you need to save Vova Amalgam in the Electric Field southeast of the Slag Heap. Carefully guide him through the anomaly field, then talk to him to get a hint about where Lex might be.
If you fail to save Vova, Lex might not spawn again.
Vova will tell you to head to Zaton, and the exact place you need to visit is the Swamp Tram POI just west of Lviv. Don't bother talking to him — threatening Lex will cause him and all his buddies to attack, and you won't get any other dialogue option either. Save yourself the trouble and chuck a grenade at the group, then loot them all afterward.
Unfortunately, you won't really get much from this vindictive goose chase. The gun Lex has seems to vary per save, though he usually holds nothing special (the same goes for his cronies).
