Chaos season has another new event in Clash Royale. The Chaos Draft and Triple Draft are still around, and Supercell has now replaced C.H.A.O.S Epic Only with Chaos Sudden Death. The event runs from August 24 to August 31 and has a few rules that make it play very differently from the previous event.
Because of those changes, some of the decks that worked well in C.H.A.O.S Epic Only aren’t nearly as good here. I have tried quite a few decks since the event went live. These are the best decks for Clash Royale's Chaos Sudden Death, along with a look at how the event works.
Here are a few decks that perform well in the Chaos Sudden Death event. I have played every deck on this list myself before recommending it, so these are not just combinations that look good on paper.
I've played quite a few matches with this deck and still haven't lost one. The Executioner does most of the heavy lifting on defense. All of his modifiers are useful, but the Epic one is easily my favorite. It keeps pulling enemy troops back while hitting them with his axes. This makes it really hard for a push to get through. Berserker and Skeleton Army give you extra help on defense.
The Skeleton Barrel and Suspicious Bush are your two win conditions. This deck has Fireball, Barbarian Barrel, and The Log for spells. It has a 2.9 average Elixir cost, which means you can cycle through your cards pretty quickly.
This is another deck I have really enjoyed playing in Chaos Sudden Death. It only has one win condition: Skeleton Barrel. I prefer it over Suspicious Bush because both its Rare and Epic modifiers are useful. With Suspicious Bush, I usually only want to use it when I get the Epic modifier.
Witch, Berserker, and Firecracker make up most of the defense. Witch's Rare modifier is especially good. It keeps spawning Guards, and if you can keep her alive, they can become a huge problem for your opponent. Firecracker takes care of swarms and air troops, and the Electro Spirit gives the deck a cheap card to cycle through when you need to get back to your main cards. The two spells are Fireball and Barbarian Barrel.
I really like this deck because Electro Wizard gets so much value from its modifiers. E Wiz was one of the most popular cards when the first Chaos mode came out earlier this year. Supercell has changed its Epic modifier. It no longer hits every enemy in the arena, but instead casts a Lightning spell with every attack. His Rare modifier is arguably even better, though, as each attack can hit up to five enemies in its radius.
