DJ Alan Walker celebrated the end of a decade-long Old School RuneScape grind by maxing his account live on stage at Ultra Japan.
The Norwegian producer has been playing OSRS for almost ten years and decided to hit the major milestone in front of thousands of festivalgoers during his set.
Walker paused his Ultra Japan set to pull out his phone and explain to the crowd that he was about to complete something almost ten years in the making.
“About almost a decade ago I started a journey in a video game called Old School RuneScape,” Walker said. “Today, I’m basically maxing my account and have my phone right here.”
With his character displayed on-screen, Walker then reached max level as the crowd celebrated the achievement.
OSRS developer Jagex congratulated Walker in a September 20 X post, stating, “Gz on maxing your account at Ultra Live!”

“Might mean nothing to someone, but it means so much to me. I’ve been grinding like crazy the past decade,” he said.
