It's been a great year for Magic: The Gathering Commander decks so far, and Reality Fracture looks set to continue this trend with a big four-color deck to finish the year strong from an in-universe standpoint. There are, of course, still another four Star Trek decks to come.

Despite where the story of Reality Fracture has taken us, including the death of Jace Beleren, it's no surprise to see that Jace will still be the leader of this Commander precon, but as the only deck for the set, is it worth spending your money on?

The Multiverse Reforged Commander deck will be available from October 2, 2026. This coincides with the full release of the Reality Fracture set. Only a limited number of products will be available during prerelease one week earlier, but the Commander decks are never part of this.

Given that this is the only Commander deck from the set, excluding the Foundations Starter Decks, we recommend pre-ordering to avoid a late rush for stock closer to release.

In some instances, if you have a good relationship with your local game store and the stock arrives early, they may let you purchase a Commander deck ahead of the release date, but only if you have pre-ordered the stock.

The face Commander for this deck is Jace, Multiverse Architect, a four-color, five-mana (1W, 1U, 1B, 1R, 1C) Planeswalker. At the beginning of combat on each opponent's turn, they may pay two mana; if they don't, creatures they control cannot attack Jaces you control this turn.

As for his loyalty abilities, his +1 lets you draw two cards, then put a card from your hand on the bottom of your library. His -3 lets you exile another target Planeswalker or creature you control, then reveal cards from the top of your library until you reveal a creature or Planeswalker card. You then put that creature or Planeswalker on the battlefield and the rest of the cards on the bottom of your library.
