The Squad Battles mode has received a slight revamp in terms of rewards and gameplay in FC 27, but a current glitch has made it the topic of discussion in the community. The glitch allows players to game the system, but there are dangers in doing so.
In Squad Battles, you play against AI-controlled teams at different levels of difficulty. At higher difficulty, you get to score more points and vie for better rewards. However, the gameplay will be significantly more difficult.
The glitch allows you to change some settings from the Match Tab that is clearly the result of the bug. Once you select the team and difficulty, you can then disable all the rules from the match tabs. In simple words, there will be no offside calls, fouls, or anything that’s considered legal in a football match.
This opens up the chance for you to exploit the system and almost ‘guarantee’ a win at Legendary difficulty, which will reward you with more points (and help you get better rewards).
However, there’s at least one good reason behind why you shouldn’t use this glitch.
There are different reasons behind why EA Sports can ban your FC 27 account. One such reason is the use of any form of exploit to gain from unfair results. This isn’t only limited to the use of third-party cheats.
EA Sports has handed out bans to players who have tried to game bugs and glitches. Hence, it’s extremely unsafe to use this latest glitch in your favor. Moreover, you’re not guaranteed wins with this glitch.
You’re still going to end up against a Legendary AI. While you can foul and run into offsides to score more goals, the AI can (and based on clips, it has) do the same. At the start of the year, the rewards scale up moderately. Hence, putting your account at risk when we are still in early access is not worth it.
