The Flare Fragment POI is an anomalous area within the Iron Forest that also holds an artifact introduced in Stalker 2: Cost of Hope. Like all other anomalies, getting the artifact from this area won't be easy, as it induces nightmarish flashes in players due to high PSI radiation. Here's a quick guide to help players get the artifact in the Flare Fragment POI in the Iron Forest without suffering from PSI-radiation flashes.

For players who haven't visited the anomalous area yet, the Flare Fragment POI is located within the Iron Forest, one of the new regions added in Stalker 2: Cost of Hope DLC. It's located in the western portion of the area, near the Chief's Bunker.
The trick to avoiding getting nightmare flashed by the Flare Fragment is to quickly finding a cover to broke your line of sight with it. You'll need to slowly make your way to the area in the image above by moving from cover to cover.
Once you're near these metal beams, make sure to first clear the area by shooting the boxes and the electro-orb anomaly. Once the area is clear, carefully make your way up the metal structure and quickly hide and break your line of sight with the anomaly by getting behind one of the metal beams.
Make sure to equip bolts, as you'll need to get rid of Springboard and Vortex anomalies. Once the path is clear, quickly move forward on the metal structure and get to the next cover.
To clear the path ahead, all you need to do is shoot the electro-orb anomaly on the tower above and disable the Vortex anomaly in front of you by throwing a bolt. After that, jump down to the lower structure and get behind cover.
Here, you'll find a bag filled with some vital resources, and finally get the Flickering Flare artifact from the Flare Fragment POI in Stalker 2: Cost of Hope DLC. Equipping this artifact will increase flat 2 stat points of PSI protection.
