Playing as a civilian in Halloween: The Game is definitely a challenge, as Michael boasts the stronger arsenal of abilities and weapons. While the Shape cannot be killed, there is one way to put him out of action: getting the authorities to detain him. Here is how you can arrest Michael in Halloween: The Game.
For the first step, you are going to have to get the Police to arrive in Haddonfield. To do this, talk to as many residents as you can find and get them to call the Police. This first requires you to complete the conversational mini-game to convince them that they are in danger. Once done, you can select the "Call for Help" dialogue option for them to call the Police.
You can also call the Police yourself directly by going to any phone and completing the conversational mini-game. You have two tries at this, and you will have to complete both successfully to make a convincing call. Do note that Michael can interrupt all calls by cutting the phone lines or attacking the caller directly.
For the next step, you will need to have one player on your team become Dr. Loomis or a Police Officer. To do this, first have one player either escape or be killed by Michael. Once this is done, you can do one of two things:
Now that you have all the prerequisites, it's time to arrest Michael. In order to do this, you will need several Police Officers in Haddonfield, weapons, and plenty of players, along with one player-controlled Policeman or Dr. Loomis. From there, surround Michael with Police to fill up his Arrest Meter. This will appear as a handcuff icon.
Once the Arrest Meter is full, knock Michael down with as much firepower as possible. Ranged weapons work well, along with surrounding Michael and blinding him with Flashlights and Flare Guns while other players hit him with melee weapons. Once he is down, close in and hold interact to complete a mini-game and arrest Michael.
Do note that the time Michael is down depends on your players' perks and Michael's ability to get up from his downed state via his own mini-game. To increase the time Michael is down, be sure to have Laurie Strode on your team, since she possesses the Knockout Character Trait.
