The Transfer Market is a huge part of the EA FC 27 Ultimate Team experience. It's the way you can buy and sell players or consumable cards for coins, rather than opening packs and relying on luck. This makes it the best way to improve your team, as it means you can spend coins on a specific player to strengthen a weak position in your team. It's also the easiest way to make money in the game, especially if you're lucky enough to pack the highest-rated players in the game that won't fit into your team (or you just don't want them, for whatever reason). Some players, however, may find that the Transfer Market is locked when they load up EA FC 27 Ultimate Team, and if that's you, it might be unclear what's causing the issue.
If you're new to Ultimate Team in EA FC 27, you need to complete a series of Objectives before you can begin buying and selling players on the Transfer Market.

After completing 'Rising Through the Ranks,' you might find that you need to then wait 24 hours until your access to the Transfer Market is unlocked on consoles, or up to 48 hours on PC. EA claims that active days on Ultimate Team are any day when you've played three full matches in the Ultimate Team mode and logged in to the Web or Companion App within a calendar day.
