With the action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty now available on Switch 2, Koei Tecmo has locked in a release date for Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember.
In an official update, it's been announced the dark fantasy Three Kingdoms sequel will be arriving on 4th March 2027. A demo has also been announced for other platforms, allowing players to receive a "cool helmet" for the full game. Below is the official release trailer shared alongside this announcement.
"In Wo Long 2, an original story unfolds in a dark fantasy version of the Three Kingdoms. Elixirs of immortality and demons inspired by legendary beings from Chinese classical literature exist alongside some of the era’s greatest warriors. Characters from the previous title will continue to play important roles, but the story is designed so that even newcomers to the series can enjoy it without feeling lost."
The first game launched for the Switch 2 earlier this month. Unfortunately, the Nintendo port wasn't in the best state on release:
"Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty could well be worth investigating on other hardware thanks to its strong parry-based combat. Yet despite the Switch 2 being more than capable of running game's of this ilk adequately, this is currently a mess on Nintendo's console."
