Do you remember Teardown? Tuxedo Labs' voxel-heisting game with insane levels of destruction? It was an absolute corker back in 2023, and today, it's getting an update to make things even better!
Well, as of this very moment, Teardown's free multiplayer update is out now, bringing 30 fresh ways to play online with your friends in the new Mod Pack 6. They're throwing everything in the mixer with this update - stuff like a Battle Royale and Prop Hunt modes, 12 player co-op, new maps and loads of extra bits and bobs.
Here's a closer look at what's just arrived for Teardown:
"Tuxedo Labs is thrilled to release Teardown’s online multiplayer update on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S today, giving console players the chance to experience the game’s fully destructible world together for the first time! Team up to tackle the original base game’s campaign in co-op, go head-to-head in multiplayer game modes, or simply create chaos in Sandbox Mode."
I've been a big fan of Teardown for quite some time now. The bombastic explosions, player expression, and freedom to annihilate maps however you see fit, alongside its moreish gameplay loop is great fun. We even awarded Teardown an 8/10 when we reviewed it back in the day.
As mentioned above, this update is available now and free for owners of the base game. If you're into the idea of blowing stuff up with your friends, the game will set you back £24.99 / $29.99 on the Xbox Store, but it's been known to hit the sales fairly often.
And with that, we'll leave you with some screenshots, and wish you well in your co-operatively destructive futures!
