Hytale’s next boss isn’t out just yet, but its creator has already put $15,000 on the line for the first streamer who can beat it.
Hytale is a sandbox RPG much like Minecraft that launched in Early Access back in January 2026. Players can explore, build, and fight their way through its world, with more content being added as development continues. Its next major update, Chapter 1, is set to arrive on October 12, 2026.
The update will introduce a goblin-themed dungeon and Hytale’s first multi-phase boss fight. That boss is the Gobliterator, and the Hytale founder is making the fight even harder for anyone hoping to claim his offer. The first streamer to defeat it while meeting his conditions will receive $15,000.
Simon pitched the challenge on X, writing: “I’ll donate $15,000 to the first streamer who kills the Gobliterator boss in hard mode, no armor, no potion, no glitch, in hardcore mode (you can use iron weapons available in Exploration Mode). It must be streamed so we can watch the VOD; don’t cheat, bro.”

To qualify, a streamer must take down the Gobliterator solo on hard difficulty in hardcore mode. They cannot use armor, potions, or glitches, and the entire attempt must also be streamed, with a VOD available for Simon to check afterward to ensure the streamer met the conditions.
Getting to the boss is part of the challenge, too. Simon said, “It must be a full legit run in solo; you can’t just creative-mode your way in there.” But luckily, streamers are allowed to start over as many times as they need: they just need to follow the rules from the beginning.
For those wanting to take part, Simon said he’ll “do a full rundown of the rules before launch,” so more conditions may be coming soon. But with Chapter 1 arriving on October 12, anyone planning to compete has time to practise before making a run at the Gobliterator and bagging that cash.
