Nintendo has dropped a surprise update for Mario Kart World this week, which adds 10 classic Super Mario Kart circuits and two new Knockout Tours.
If you haven't already downloaded this update, it's now officially live! It bumps the software up to Version 1.8.0 and follows a major update in June. As mentioned by Nintendo, you can play the classic courses in VS Race mode, and they replace item boxes with item panels on the track.
Along with this are the two new Knockout Tour routes, "Propeller Rally" and "Turnip Rally". According to the official patch notes, Nintendo has also made a bunch of other updates, and "up to 26 players can now join a room in Online Play or LAN play".
