As promised, publisher Konami has released a playable demo for the first mainline entry in the Castlevania series in over a decade.
Available right now on PS Store, you can dip your toes into Castlevania: Belmont's Curse on PS5.
Here's the most recent trailer to get you up to speed:
Weighing in at just over 4 GB, the demo version is essentially the beginning of the full game, allowing you to take your first steps into the Metroidvania action title.
Any progress you make in the demo can be transferred over to the full game when it launches, meaning you can kickstart your playthrough early and then pick up where you left off.
Set in 1499 Paris, Belmont's Curse casts you as Rose Belmont, successor to the famous vampire-slaying bloodline. Armed with the legendary Vampire Killer whip and lots of other weapons, relics, and magic, this promises to be a pretty classic Castlevania title, albeit with a fresh art style and some modern features.
Early previews of the game have been very strong, but now you can give it a try yourself and see what you're in for on 15th October.
