The donkey will keep bringing you bodies in Graveyard Keeper 2, but not every body is worth putting in a grave. Some arrive with a lot of red skulls, and burying them without fixing the problem can hurt your graveyard quality. Thankfully, you have a few ways to deal with bodies that are not suitable for burial. Here’s what you can do with bad corpses in Graveyard Keeper 2.
The easiest way to deal with a bad corpse is to cremate it. You still get the Burial Certificate when you burn a body, which you can sell to Januarius at the village tavern.
You’ll need to unlock the Body Places I technology first, then build Crematorium I in the Morgue using 6 Bricks and 6 Bronze Details.
You can also get rid of unwanted corpses by throwing them into the river. All you need to do is carry the body to the river near the graveyard, and you will get the option to throw it in. It’s a quick way to clear out a body you don't want to bury, but you won’t get a Burial Certificate or any other rewards for doing this.
Before you get rid of a corpse, make sure to do its autopsy first. Removing red skulls can improve the corpse for burial, but if the corpse is still not good enough for your graveyard after the autopsy, you can cremate it for the Burial Certificate or throw it in the river if you simply want to get rid of it.
There’s also another option for bad corpses, but you won’t have access to it right away. Later in the game, you will unlock the ability to turn corpses into zombies after meeting the Plague Doctor. They can handle different tasks for you, and unlike regular graves, red skulls are actually useful when making zombies.
