Complete The Cursed Chasm quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker to get the Durandal legendary sword and a lot of Silver. Sell the Silver at the Silver Trader in Svartrau City to gain more Denarius. You can find this mission at the bottom of the chasm, near where you can exit the valley and end the game early.

After defeating all the creatures, you'll need to use Focus Mode to highlight all the wreckage and skeletons you can interact with. Inspect the skeleton to get a Ring and the Final Report, which will reveal that Catalin had left the Valley with so much Silver before the Vrakhiri attack happened, and how the soldiers were trying to escape the Valley. The letter further explains how the soldiers refused to fight against the strong Vrakhiri, then proceeded to state that they quit and would escape the Valley too.
Unfortunately, none of them make it out alive based on the wreckage and the bodies you find, but this leaves you with a stash of Silver and other valuables that you can exchange for Denarius at different Merchants. Loot the rest of the surrounding wreckage to find the Treasure Map: Silver Cache next and trigger the Finders Keepers quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker.
The biggest wreckage pile will have the Durandal legendary sword, Denarius, and a recipe. After finishing The Cursed Chasm quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker, you can either follow the Treasure Map you found or head west and solve the Ancient Circle there if it's day.
