Publisher Bandai Namco is just weeks away from the launch of Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve, and it's really pushing hard for this to be a big success.
You only need to see the company's live-action mini-series that serves as a prequel to understand that, but a brand new trailer for the game itself has recently come online, and it's fantastic.
However, if you're as much a fan of the series as I am and/or you've already decided to play AC8, I'm not sure you should watch.
This is the story trailer for Wings of Theve, and it shows off many moments from the game's single player campaign, which will be the main attraction for many.
It's full of explosive moments (literally) and showcases various characters interacting, and while the trailer seems light on actual narrative spoilers, there might be some stuff shown here you'll want to experience yourself for the first time in the game itself.
It's difficult to tell how spoilery this thing really is but, as a precaution, I'd maybe avoid watching this if you're already planning on playing.
Whether you watch or not, it's an exciting time for Ace Combat fans, as the game comes in to land on 2nd October — not far off at all.
