In case you somehow missed it, the freshly remastered version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is out now on Xbox, and is a free update for all those who already own the critically acclaimed RPG.
On the Xbox Store, we've already noticed the Witcher 3 Complete Edition's page has been updated, and now shows The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Remastered. Again, if you already own the game, the lovely little "owned" tick should appear on the refreshed listing. Hit install, and you should be Gucci.
CD Projekt Red exec Marcin Momot posted patch sizes for the remaster, and it looks like Xbox users will expect the patch to be somewhere in the region of 45GB in size.
Physical disc owners simply need to pop the disc into their Xbox Series X, and then it all becomes a very similar story to the digital versions. As the game installs, it should automatically update to The Witcher 3 Remastered.
Some users have reported issues with the disc versions not properly updating, but a simple restart of the console seems to do the trick.
