While targeting Ambrus and his operations in The Blood of Dawnwalker, Coen can destroy three of Ambrus's Dungeons and free the prisoners there. In one of Ambrus's Dungeons, Coen finds two prisoners. Before freeing them, one of the prisoners tells Coen not to free the other, as he's a snitch for Ambrus's soldiers. In this guide, I'll share how to complete Ambrus's Dungeons: Judge and Executioner Quest and whether you should free Branko or not.
Branko is not innocent, so you may not want to free Branko in The Blood of Dawnwalker. He's clearly a snitch, and you can prove it. After the prisoner tells you not to free Branko, you can delay your decision. Coen will tell the prisoner that these are serious accusations against Branko, and he needs to think and look around. You should do exactly that. If you search around, you can find two solid pieces of evidence that prove Branko is working with Ambrus's men.
The first is in the tent, on the eastern side of Ambrus's Dungeon.
It's a letter that showcases what each prisoner is in for and what will be done to them. While everyone else is scheduled for draining and torture to confess, the letter states that Branko is not subject to torture.
The other and better piece of evidence is located on the western side of Ambrus's Dungeon, on a table. The Interrogation protocols letter details both prisoners' interrogations.
It showcases how brutal the torture procedures are for the first prisoner, while it states that Branko doesn't need to be tortured, as he's fully cooperative.
There are no consequences for any choice here, so you can still decide whether to free Branko or not. For me, I chose to keep Branko locked up while freeing the other prisoner. Before Branko can say anything, Coen tells him that he saw the documents, and it looks like Branko collaborated with the Vrakhiri. Of course, Branko apologizes and begs for his freedom, but Coen tells him that's not enough and keeps him behind bars. The best part is when Branko starts begging; the other prisoner shuts him up and calls him a backstabber.
That should complete the Ambrus's Dungeons: Judge and Executioner Quest in The Blood of Dawnwalker. Completing these quests increases Ambrus's anger, which leads him to eventually challenge Coen to a duel, starting The Gilded Gauntlet Quest.
