A new 3D Kirby is on the horizon! Nintendo closed out today's Direct with a first look at Kirby and the World Beyond, revealing that it'll launch on Switch 2 in Spring 2027.
This one looks to be pretty open world, giving you huge areas to freely explore with Kirby's copy abilities. There's something quite Truman Show about the whole thing, showcasing the world's broken outer wall, with Kirby venturing beyond it.
Aside from that, it's Kirby! It's cute! The pink puffball comes equipped with a big sword this time, and there's a new floaty companion in tow.
The 2027 launch date aligns with the series' 35th anniversary, and after the success of The Forgotten Land, we can't think of a better way to celebrate it.
