The New Growth quest in Control Resonant begins during Zoe’s Briefing quest, where you will need to talk to Zoe in the Watchtower. After this conversation, she will mention Dr. Raya Underhill, who is part of the Mold expert team.
Since Dr. Underhill is missing, the team needs help, and you will need to make your way over to the Evacuation Zone. The guide below offers a walkthrough for the New Growth quest and also focuses on the choices you get near the end of the quest.
Talk to the FBC staff stationed near the FBC Base fast travel door in the Park region. They will tell you about Dr. Underhill’s disappearance, and you need to investigate her last known location. Follow the objective marker on the map, and once you reach the area, a small search zone will appear. Go to the top of the building with the FBC equipment.
Interact with the files on the top of the table here to find Underhill’s Resignation Letter, as well as the Level 6 Keycard. Fast Travel to the Oldest House: Central Executive and head left to open the second locked door, now that you have the proper clearance. Here, you will find some files along with the Welcome Letter and Underhill’s Apartment Key.
Fast Travel back to the Park and make your way to the objective marker to find her apartment with several Mold enemies outside. Deal with them to open up the entrance to the building and go up a floor to find her apartment on the left. You will find Dr. Underhill working near the kitchen, and you can talk to her.
She will tell you that she has a lab near the sewers and wants you to find the Test Subjects. Grab the Key to Underhill’s Sewer Lab from the counter and head over to the marked location.
There will be an underground entrance leading to the testing facility, and you can turn left to open the door. Inside, you will find a Power Upgrade point, the Mold Growth Simulator, and some Sample Tubes.
Now go ahead and drop down from the railing, and you will find the Test Subject. Press the prompt on your screen to track down the Test Subjects. You will need to keep doing this until they split into two and go separate ways.
