Grand Theft Auto 6’s Netflix Extended Look actually featured Red Dead Redemption 2, but you probably missed it.
The extended gameplay preview is just shy of 27 minutes and is packed with too many subtle details to even begin mentioning, though we have got a list of the most important ones.
At 7:34, an in-game parody commercial plays on the television as Jason waits for Lucia to get ready. It’s for the 30,000 calorie Prairie Sandwich Box Meal, which features at least four different kinds of meat “from the open range,” topped off with “world famous buns.”
The commercial begins with a variety of creatures peacefully frolicking in a grassy field beside a river before being interrupted by gunshots. It seems innocuous enough, but eagle-eyed fans have identified this as a location in Red Dead Redemption 2.
X (formerly Twitter) user s1nicki managed to identify the grassy field thanks to the curve of the river, and the placement of several nearby rocks and trees. The curve of the river, the two large rocks, and the tree tilting over the river are all very similar, indicating that it is likely the same spot.

s1nicki goes on to provide the map location in RDR2, just North of Annesburg near where the river bends.
In a reply, s1nicki explains how they found the location so quickly, saying, “I’m chronically into RDR2.”
