After 13 years, a huge era has come to an end for Grand Theft Auto 5. One of the community's biggest memes regarding GTA 5 has finally been addressed by Rockstar, a day many thought would never arrive.
Grand Theft Auto 5 launched in September 2013, and remains one of the most-played games on the market today. It is comfortably among the best-selling games of all time, having continued to sell year-upon-year thanks to the ongoing support of GTA Online. Even for a GTA game, it has enjoyed a remarkable lifespan, and it remains to be seen if its long-awaited successor can match it.
Rockstar Games recently confirmed the launch of nopixel V, an overhauled version of the popular RP server. In the announcement, it confirmed the server would feature new locations on the map, sharing a screenshot that brought about the end of an era for GTA 5. In the screenshot, fans can see the new Pixel Hotel, which is the finished version of the unfinished skyscraper that has become a massive meme in the Grand Theft Auto community over the last 13 years.

In-game, the building is known as the Mile High Club, but that's not the name Rockstar has gone for here. Given the context, the Pixel Hotel is more apt anyway. When nopixel V launches on September 8, it will be very interesting to see how popular roleplayers choose to utilize the finally completed building in their storylines.

It's perhaps not the way most GTA 5 players might have thought the building would eventually be finished, but it's cool to see regardless. Many thought that it could be completed as part of a GTA Online heist, but that never came to fruition. While it does appear in the prep for the Cayo Perico heist, this is just its unfinished version, but after 13 years, gamers finally get to see what it looks like in all its glory.
