Grand Theft Auto 6 looks to be a game which revolves around romance, which makes sense given the game's two main protagonists are a couple. Jason and Lucia have been up close and personal in the game's trailers already, and you'll be able to decide how far their relationship goes by how you play the game. It makes sense then that hanky-panky may be on the cards.
Grand Theft Auto has always been a mature series, but it's never intentionally included sex scenes as risqué or detailed as something you might find in the likes of Cyberpunk 2077 and Baldur's Gate 3. We all know that Hot Coffee was a thing, which was a sex minigame that was found in the files of GTA: San Andreas, but that was very much an unofficial feature.
Now that Rockstar has improved tech and a budding romance as part of its central story, there's every chance that we might see some not-so-family-friendly scenes between Jason and Lucia.
That's what the game's PlayStation Store listing is alluding to, anyway. First spotted by IGN, GTA 6's digital store listing in a few different countries was updated with its recently announced age rating. All the stuff you expect to be warned about is there, like drug use, nudity, offensive language, and violence, but on the New Zealand and Australian storefront, it also warns that "sex scenes" are in the game too.
Of course, these age ratings aren't going to go into great detail about what's going to occur in these scenes, and they aren't a definite indicator that we're getting fully mocapped sex scenes in the game either. Australia and New Zealand's rating boards are notoriously strict, so a warning over "sex scenes" could literally hint at implied friskiness as well. We won't know for sure until we've got Jason's bare backside on our TV screens.
