I've put together a list of my personal favourites, with the main criteria being artistic value and overall coolness.
Although playability and collector demand are always worth considering, I focused mainly on the creativity, originality, and visual impact of the card artwork, alongside the reception it’s had from fans.
The best thing is that there are plenty of options to meet everyone's needs, regardless of budget; whether you’re hunting pocket monsters with pocket change or looking for top-end chase cards!

While both Pikachu ex cards in this subset work together as a matching daytime and nighttime set, the "day" version illustrated by kantaro ever so slightly edges it out for me.
Not only is it cheaper—sitting at roughly $89.03 on TCGplayer compared to its nighttime equivalent bringing in $116.07—it features one of my favorite Pokémon of all time in the background: Espeon!
