Magic: The Gathering’s Universes Beyond crossovers remain contentious within the community, but there’s no denying they bring more eyeballs to what is, by any measure, a very fun and deep card game.
If Marvel Super Heroes has drawn you in, you’re in good company. It’s a big step forward from last year’s Spider-Man-centric set, bringing the Avengers, Fantastic Four, and plenty more iconic characters into the game. And with Wizards of the Coast already announcing Marvel: Darkhold Destiny for April 2027, featuring a darker, supernatural side of the Marvel Universe, there’s plenty more to look forward to if you’re enjoying this latest crossover.
Whether you're looking to build your collection, crack open some booster packs, or jump straight into a preconstructed Commander deck, we've rounded up the best deals on Magic: The Gathering's Marvel Super Heroes set.
The humble Play Booster is the backbone of any Magic: The Gathering set, offering one of the more affordable ways to build up your collection. Over at Amazon, you can save 28% on a Play Booster box, bringing it down to $147.95 from $209.70. That works out at $4.93 per pack, rather than the usual $6.99 MSRP, and you're getting 30 of the things in one fell swoop. Not bad at all.
Play Boosters are much less likely to cough up the big-money cards in Marvel Super Heroes, mind you. If you're hoping to strike gold, you'll want to look at the pricier Collector Boosters instead, currently back in stock at Amazon for $44.99 each, or $449.99 for pricey booster display box.
While we're on the premium options, as well, I'd like to call out the Collector's Edition Commander Decks, which are now down to $448.26. That's below market price compared to TCGplayer ($487), and a fairly good deal if you don't mind paying about $112 per deck. Seems like a lot, but it's still much better than paying the $640 ($160 per deck) that it was listed for before the sale.
If you want to find the most valuable cards in the set, you'll need to pay a premium to find them.
Amazon doesn't have individual Play Boosters available right now, but there are a couple of alternatives worth a look. The Marvel Super Heroes Gift Bundle includes nine Play Boosters and a Collector Booster, and it's currently $10 off, bringing it to just under $80. The Play Boosters alone would set you back around $63, so you're essentially getting that Collector Booster for a much more agreeable price.
