PlayStation's in-house games regularly collaborate. And this time, Ghost of Yōtei is getting a rather unconventional crossover with The Last of Us.
Sucker Punch is officially teaming up with Naughty Dog to let players celebrate the iconic PlayStation franchise, bringing a Clicker-inspired outfit to their game. It's not uncalled-for, considering the Clicker is an infamous one-hit enemy.
While Ghost of Yōtei has received a lot of additional content since its launch in 2025, this crossover was certainly unexpected, given how eccentric an undead-inspired outfit looks in a samurai game.
Sucker Punch Productions announced the crossover on their official X page, revealing a new Clicker-inspired outfit for Atsu. The outfit brings a rather unsettling alternative to Atsu's normal attire, as you probably know how deadly a Clicker is in Naughty Dog's critically acclaimed survival title.
This collaboration celebrates the ongoing The Last of Us Day, an annual event dedicated to Naughty Dog's post-apocalyptic franchise. Along with PlayStation Avatars and a new Welcome Hub for the PlayStation 5, we're getting a cosmetic collaboration.
Normally, the celebrations are limited to merchandise and other community announcements; this year, they're expanding it to a crossover with another beloved PlayStation title. It's not just a promotional image, either. You will be able to unlock the outfit in Ghost of Yōtei's Most Wanted mode, serving as a reward for completing challenges.
If you're looking to get your hands on the new Clicker-inspired outfit in Ghost of Yōtei, then there's a little wait. You can unlock the outfit on October 1st and later by playing Most Wanted mode. If you're unfamiliar and haven't heard about the upcoming Most Wanted mode in the game's Complete Edition, it lets you take on increasingly difficult challenges to unlock cosmetic awards; it's a combat survival mode.
Once unlocked, you can also use the new outfit in the campaign, Echoes of Sekigahara, and Legends mode. So, you won't be limited to the Most Wanted mode only. Show it off to a foe in Legends Mode and capitalize on the opportunity to bring a little post-apocalyptic horror aesthetic to the land of Ezo.
