The Dnipro in STALKER 2 is a bullpup assault rifle that players can get for free by going to the Lishchyna Facility in the Red Forest, though the weapon can also be bought from the traders in Yaniv and Prypiat. The Lishchyna Facility is affected by heavy Psi Radiation, so you'll experience frequent hallucinations. You'll also find a Controller inside, so if you don't want your death counter in STALKER 2 to rise, you'll need to come prepared.
You'll first want to head to Rostok and prep your supplies there. For this raid in particular, you can get away with bringing basic or low-tier weapons. You'll mostly be fighting zombies in the Lishchyna Facility, so something like the Fora 230 or basic AK74 rifles will be enough, so long as you can hit headshots (which shouldn't be hard to do at all since zombies barely move).
When you get to Lishchyna Facility, search one of the nearby burrows and look for a key on a table. Pick it up, then open the door to the left of the bunker's entrance. Be prepared to fight big groups of zombies inside. The bunker's layout is pretty straightforward, so there's no chance you'll get lost.
Once you've pushed past the groups of zombies, you'll reach a dead end with a locked fence door and a Controller on the other side. To open this door, go back to the room before that one and look for a ladder. Go up the ladder, then press the big red button on the terminal. Return to the fence gate, then lob a few grenades at the Controller to kill it quickly.
Run past the long corridor, and at the end, enter the room to your right. You'll find a Dnipro in one of the lockers. To exit the facility, simply climb the nearby ladder and exit via the main door.
Once you've reached the hub areas in Yaniv and Prypiat, visit the regions' respective traders, and you should be able to buy Dnipro rifles from them.
It's one of the best weapons in STALKER 2 thanks to its excellent damage output relative to the ammo it uses. The Dnipro uses the same 5.45x39mm rounds that the AK74 models use — not only is this ammo type cheap, but it's also more plentiful compared to other assault rifle calibers.
If you want your Dnipro to pack a stronger punch, you can upgrade it to fire 7.62mm rounds instead. Doing this will increase your Dnipro's damage output at the cost of also increasing its recoil. This could be a decent trade-off if you can offset the stronger kick through other upgrades, but the Dnipro will work just fine even without the caliber conversion.
