Publisher and developer Pearl Abyss has announced a delay for Crimson Desert's massive DLC pack, but fortunately it won't leave fans waiting for too much longer.
The ambitious RPG's expansion, titled Charting the Unknown, is now set for release on 29th October, as per a statement released on social media:
The DLC was originally planned for launch on 15th October, so it's been pushed back by just a couple of weeks.
"We are hard at work on Crimson Desert Enhanced: Charting the Unknown to bring you new adventures to Pywel," the post reads.
"However, we have determined that we need additional development time to deliver a more polished and stable gameplay experience. Therefore, we have decided to move the DLC's release by 2 weeks to October 29 GMT/PT."
The team at Pearl Abyss "sincerely apologize" for the delay, but that the extra time will be used to "further refine the content and do our utmost to deliver the best experience we can."
An extra two weeks wait isn't so bad, especially for a game as broad as this one. You probably still have plenty to do anyway, right?
Charting the Unknown seems like it'll add a ridiculous amount of new stuff, too, with lots of new features like building and decorating your own castle, travelling the seas and engaging in naval battles, exploring underwater, and a whole new setting and story.
