Traditionally, the Dragon Ball franchise is known for giving the main characters immense strength to battle, allowing them to pull off incredible feats that defy all logic. Due to this, these characters are some of the strongest in the entire anime/manga industry, as they are capable of destroying entire planets with a single punch.

Back in the days of Dragon Ball Z, fans were introduced to Dabura during the Buu Saga; a villain who proved to be one of Babidi's most powerful allies. Upon being turned to do the wizard's bidding, Dabura showed that his strength was far beyond any villain in the series' past, as he went toe-to-toe with Super Saiyan 2 Gohan.

This weapon was a massive curved sword that Dabura could materialize into his hand out of thin air and it did significant harm to Gohan before he broke it during their fight.

Born from the culmination of all the negative energy in Other World, this powerful monster had the ability to bypass dimensional barriers, which was best shown with his incredible weapon, the Dimension Sword.

Originally taking the form of a small ogre's club, the Dimension Sword was then transformed by its user into a terrifying red blade that, just like its wielder, sliced through dimensions and opened portals. It also seemingly had infinite range, as it was able to cut enemies from afar by traveling dimensions and create exceedingly sharp waves of energy that could cut through anything.

Out of every weapon user in the history of the franchise, the most iconic is Future Trunks. Originally debuting in the Android Saga, this young Saiyan quickly won the hearts of fans, as he is often called one of the best side characters that Dragon Ball has ever produced. Despite his otherwise incredible design, the thing that sticks out most about him is his iconic sword.

As his most iconic trait, much of Trunks' move set is predicated on his mastery with a blade, with most of his attacks utilizing it in one way or another. Although the weapon was just another sword in his initial appearance, he eventually went on to wield the Z Sword, which Trunks would transform into the Sword of Hope in order to destroy Zamasu's indestructible body.
