Both Intel and AMD CPUs are overall excellent processors that complement the 5080 well. The Intel Core Ultra 7 256KF is more versatile for non-gaming applications since it has considerably more cores (20 cores vs 8 cores), but the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D performs better at gaming specifically thanks to its 3D V-cache.
Performance-wise, the RTX 5080 is no slouch. It's one of the fastest cards on the market, bested only by the $2,000 RTX 5090 and the discontinued $1,600 RTX 4090. You'll be able to play latest, most demanding games in 4K resolution at high settings and ray tracing enabled. The second VENGEANCE a7500 configuration is $400 off. This is a more affordable model equipped with a GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, 1TB SSD, and 850W 80 Plus Gold power supply. The CPU remains the same, which is a very good thing because the AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D is one of the best gaming CPUs you can buy at the moment.
The GeForce RTX 5070 is an outstanding graphics card for 1080p and 1440p gaming. It's also powerful enough to run most games at 4K, although at that point you'll see noticeable gains jumping up to a 5070 Ti.
