Hello! Been a minute since the last one of these, hasn't it? Sorry about that. I will be better, just as Kratos tells us.
Funnily enough, after the last Going Platinum, which was quite a personal and meaningful one for me, this edition is sort of the opposite.
I played Sound Shapes on PS Vita, and the primary motivation was, I'm afraid, Trophies. I simply wanted a PS Vita platinum, and this neat little game was what I chose.
I think this might be the most "Trophy hunter" I've ever been, just looking for another easy platinum to add to my collection.
That's not to say I didn't connect with the game, or enjoy it on its own merits; I definitely did. It's well worth playing if you haven't already.
Sound Shapes is a very simple game and very well-suited to the Vita, I think. It's essentially a 2D platformer set to music.
You control a little ball that can stick to objects in the environment, and you just hop over obstacles and hazards and soak in the music, and that's pretty much it.
Trophies are similarly straightforward; all you need to do to net the platinum is beat every level in the base game's campaign. Easy peasy, and it doesn't take long.
