Here's what the Autumn sale has to offer.
The Steam Autumn Sale is officially live, featuring hundreds, if not thousands, of games discounted by a little or, well, selling for pennies on the dollar. We’ve been perusing the store for the last half hour or so, and the following deals really stood out to us.
First and foremost, we’ve gotta highlight the deepest of discounts: the ones taking games down to a single buck or just a handful of the all-seeing eyes. Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus is only a dollar fifty, giving you entry to one of the best and most interesting 4X games out there, not to mention the chance to play the Warhammer faction with the most aura (sorry, Imperials).
Speaking of Imperials, Skyrim Special Edition is only $5, just in time for another anniversary for the franchise, where Todd Howard will definitely not relaunch the game on a dozen more platforms.
Warhammer: Space Marine 2, Saber’s latest big hit that doesn’t have any AI, is 75 percent off at just $14.99.
Fans of first-person shooters and gritty realistic games will rejoice to hear that Ready or Not is finally having a big discount, slashing the price in half to $24.99.
If you’re in for some old classics, the entire Arkham collection is $8.99, containing all four games in Rocksteady’s Arkham franchise. Now that’s a steal, not whatever Joker does.
And, lastly, one of my favorite extraction shooters ever made: Hunt: Showdown (though you could call it a battle royale instead) is just $11.99. The standard edition is $14.99, which gives you a few DLC on top, but you really don’t need any of them to play the game. They’re just cosmetics, after all.
