Victorian-inspired free-to-play open world game Silver Palace will release worldwide on 14th December, which has really shocked me.
I played this stylish effort at Gamescom earlier in the year, but assumed it was still quite a way away.
But in a shock reveal overnight, publisher Elementa has confirmed the title will deploy on the PS5 in just a few short weeks.
Pre-registration is available now across all platforms, with various milestones, including a free 4-Star character. The first target has already been achieved, and you can follow the progress through here.
I assume PS Store wishlisting contributes to the pre-registration targets, and you can do that through here.
Silver Palace is very much a gacha game in the same style as Genshin Impact, although I think its regal sandbox gives it a slightly different flavour to anything else on the market.
In its official blurb, Elementa describes it as a game “centred around detective mysteries”. Some of the production values in the Gamescom demo I played blew me away.
There’s also a new trailer which introduces the character Gratia. I think the voice work is fun, and this trailer had a lot more personality than past ones – although I do think, at its core, this title is treading familiar ground.
