Xbox system updates are happening all the time if you're part of the Xbox Insider program, but when it comes to public console updates that get pushed out to everyone, we're usually only getting around one of them per-month.
Therefore, we've been keeping an eye on the Xbox Support website in recent days to see if September would be getting a console update at all, and that has actually happened - but it's only a minor one with just a few bug fixes.
Specifically, the update (which first went live on September 22nd) includes the following changes:
Who knows if we'll get another one before the month is out, but it seems unlikely at this point that the highly-anticipated Disc to Digital feature will get a public launch in September - it's still very much in testing with Xbox Insiders, and let's not forget that Ubisoft was added to it recently, with teases that more companies could be on the way.
Anyway, if you've had an update recently and you're not part of the Xbox Insider program, the bug fixes above explain what you've received in the latest system rollout. You can also force the update manually if you haven't had it yet by going to "Settings", "System" and then "Updates" on your Xbox console.
