Precious Cargo is a secondary quest in The Witcher 3 where Geralt helps a merchant in White Orchard find his lost cart and a box of medicine. However, when Geralt investigates the site of the crashed cart, he finds that matters are not as simple as they seem.
Players are presented with three distinct ways they can complete this quest, each leading to a different ending. Here’s the breakdown.
Talk to the merchant sitting by the side of the road south of the Nilfgaardian Garrison in White Orchard (northwest of the Axii Place of Power) to start the Precious Cargo quest. He will tell Geralt that he was bringing medical supplies to the Nilfgaardian soldiers, but his horse got spooked suddenly and ran off into the marshes.
Use your Witcher senses in the quest circle to find cart tracks leading off the road. Follow the tracks, and you’ll find an overturned cart in the marshes. Investigate the following clues at the scene:
After you’ve examined all the clues, Geralt will piece together what happened, concluding that the quest giver was lying.
