Capcom has long promised a major update for Dragon's Dogma 2, dropping ahead of its Dark Arisen expansion on the 9th October.
Previously, this patch was scheduled for late August, but the developer's now confirmed that it'll be arriving a little late, on the 1st or 2nd of September depending on your timezone.
As alluded, this update is a big deal — a game-changer. It's set to make fundamental adjustments to the open world RPG's gameplay, in preparation for the DLC.
To recap, the patch improves both pawn and enemy behaviour, while also unlocking two extra skill slots so that you've got more options in combat.
Available save files are being expanded, the UI's being overhauled in a number of areas, vocations will undergo balance changes, and new graphics options are being added. The full patch notes — which are huge — can be found on the game's official website.
