When it comes to the best races in The Veil you can think of the A-Tier as the practical S-Tier since Veilborne is hard to get. That said, there are excellent race options even among the lower rarities. You can get a lot of mileage out of Goblin and Hiveling as a beginner player and then focus toward more advanced builds later on with other high-tier races. You can change your race by visiting the Stylist NPC in The Glade by climbing up to the upper HUB/tower area. Just take any ladder and follow The Stylist prompt on your HUD. Once you reach the Stylist and interact with him, the race reroll screen will pop up where you can reroll your race just like during character creation (check out how to get race rerolls above).
