Geralt and the Duchess must disguise themselves to enter a high-class party to discover the identity of the Citran, but will it all go according to plan? It's time to let go of those swords and wear something fancy, as a party is about to begin in The Man from Cintra in The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine. While relatively short, there are optional activities, a moral choice, and a difficult investigation afoot, so you might want to use this guide to ensure things go smoothly.
To begin, you're going to want to impress the Duchess by wearing clothes Anna Henrietta will consider appropriate for the soirée. You can do this by heading to the Tailor's Workshop, which is just northwest of the Gran'Place in Beauclair. Once you're inside, speak with Pierre and purchase the Elegant Beauclair set. Once you equip it and take off your swords and crossbow, the optional objective will be complete.

Head north, and in the first room on the left, you'll enter a cutscene with a woman who is being painted in the nude. Regardless of your dialogue choices, she will direct you to the refreshment tables.
On the table by the pillar, you will find an empty heart-shaped box with your Witcher Senses, which you can now use to track a scent to a door in the southeast. After speaking with the guard inside, head upstairs and enter the middle room, where you will find an unfortunate corpse.
Use your Witcher Senses to climb across the balcony, where you will be able to examine a smashed plant pot, which has footprints leading to a ladder that will then take you upstairs into a large room that needs further investigation.
