Abandoned is technically the "bad ending" of Silent Hill Townfall, and it's the one you're likely going to get in your first playthrough, even without a guide. However, if you want to see what happens in the Abandoned ending, or you're curious about the Abandoned ending requirements in Silent Hill Townfall so you can aim for them (or avoid them) then you can find them here!
For example: I had 74 enemies killed, which surpasses the kill threshold and grants the Abandoned ending, regardless of the amount of Discoveries you collect.
The Abandoned ending requires you to kill more enemies than you have Discoveries. This means that you should actively play aggressively and kill all enemies you see, especially in Part 5: Richard, when you get the Shotgun to use on Widows, as there are over 30 of these enemies, which will make the Abandoned ending even easier to get.
The only thing that matters for the Abandoned ending is acquiring far too many kills and not getting enough Discoveries. So, if you want the Abandoned ending, focus on getting more kills than Discoveries, but even then, if you get over 60 kills, you will lock yourself into the Abandoned ending even if you find all 85 Discoveries:
You can see the stats above that helped us achieve the Abandoned ending, but as you can tell, they meet the same requirements as Forever. The reason we didn't get Forever instead was because we surpassed the hard-lock number for kills, so as mentioned before: If you get too many kills (over 60) you will get the Abandoned ending no matter what.
