One of the many improvements from the original is that you can now change your clothes and customize the Keeper's appearance in Graveyard Keeper 2. However, it's not clear at first how to do so, and players will find themselves receiving new outfits upon completing quests, but when these are clicked on, they vanish into thin air. Thankfully, they are not deleted, but instead saved for when the player builds a dresser in their new home. It's then possible to change clothes here, as well as the Keeper's hair.
To change your clothes and appearance, you will first need to craft a Dresser With Mirror in your house, so if you're yet to complete the tutorial and want to customize your character, you'll sadly have to wait a tad longer.
You will then need to unlock Suit Up! from the Building Tech Tree, allowing you to make a Dresser With Mirror. This is an early unlock after Woodworking I.
The materials to craft a Dresser With Mirror are:
In the Metallurgy Tech Tree, players will therefore need to unlock Bronze Works and Glass. Thankfully, these are also unlocked early. You'll also want to repair your kitchen to make food in Graveyard Keeper 2.
Once you've made your dresser in your house, simply walk up to it and click the interact button. Here, you can cycle through the following:
It's also possible to change the colors of individual aspects of your outfit, allowing for even more customization. Any outfit that you've had in your inventory and clicked on will automatically appear as an option at your dresser.
These outfits don't have any effect on gameplay, and any armor that you craft and equip is simply hidden beneath unless players are taking part in a battle.
