There's been quite a lot going on at Double Fine Productions over the past few weeks, with the company leaving Xbox and announcing plans for an indie Kickstarter project (along with teasing a hypothetical Brutal Legend 2, dropping a huge update for Kiln and putting Keeper on PS5), and they've just announced a new game as well!
This new game is part of the Action Labs label, which is specifically described as a "new label for weird, little more experimental games", and it's called Thank You Bus Driver - a bus driving title that looks like a mix of Bus Simulator and Crazy Taxi complete with its own unique brand of weirdness!
What's particularly interesting here is that Thank You Bus Driver has already racked up over 250,000 views across various videos on YouTube so far (including over 160k on the Double Fine account), and it was only announced on Friday night. Compare it to Kiln, and that game's Double Fine announcement trailer only has 66,000 views in its lifetime.
That should bode well for this one! The sad part is that they're only advertising a PC release for Thank You Bus Driver right now, which marks the first Double Fine game to not launch on an Xbox system in many years. Here's hoping it'll make its way to consoles at some point though, which we're sure it will if the launch proves successful.

Take on the role of a town’s rules-driven (and reckless) bus driver in Thank You Bus Driver! Drive fast, slap faster, and toss any rulebreakers out of your bus to reach true victory: being appreciated.
