Secret of the Golden Helmet is a side quest in Aniimo’s Russet Highlands region. Completing this quest is a requirement for certain Aniimo to spawn in this region, making it one of the most important quests to complete. Here’s how to do it.
To start the Secret of the Golden Helmet, head to the Russet Highlands and find a small clearing between the Rainbow Woods fast travel point and the First Sight Sanctum where three Helmuts are gathered around, staring at a curious-looking golden helmet on a platform nearby.
To talk to the gathered Helmuts, you have to twine with a Helmut of your own. Luckily, the Russet Highlands is filled with Helmut (Basic Form) and Helmut (Snowfield Form) aplenty. Catch either one and return to the clearing.
Then, twine with your Helmut and talk to the Onlooking Helmut and Watchful Helmut to learn that the Golden Helmet hides a powerful secret, but approaching it normally is not possible because the Devoted Helmut won’t let anyone touch it.
To touch the Golden Helmet, you have to twine with an Aniimo that has the Cloak ability. The options are:
