Call of Duty pro Nero has been suspended from Black Ops 7 Ranked Play after advertising his boosting service on X.
Dylan ‘Nero’ Koch has been a pro player for eight years, most recently playing for the Carolina Royal Ravens and Vancouver Surge during the 2026 CDL season, and is an unrestricted free agent for Modern Warfare 4.
On September 24, Nero revealed that his account had been suspended from Black Ops 7 Ranked Play, and Activision confirmed it wasn’t an accident.
“Umm I think they got the wrong guy,” he tweeted, showing an in-game pop-up that reads: “This account, or an account in your party, is under review and is temporarily suspended from Ranked Play.” He then asked the Call of Duty Community Team account for help.
The Call of Duty CM account replied, asking, “This you?” showing a now-deleted tweet in which Nero advertised his Ranked Play boosting service, where players could hire him to help them reach higher ranks by playing on their account or teaming up to be carried.

“I have [to] because every lobby is hackers and cheaters,” Nero responded. “Well done!!”
When another player asked him what he thought would happen, he said, “People was making a f**k ton of money so I said f**k it [I don’t know], I’m not doing it anymore that’s why I was getting on my main to play and saw this.”
